Did you know that you can lose your salvation? It’s true! Here, let me show you the very scriptures which say precisely this.
“For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Master and Saviour יהושע Messiah, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the set-apart command delivered unto them. For them the proverb has proved true, “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “A washed sow returns to her rolling in the mud.” 2 Peter (Kepha Bet) 2:20-22
What does this have to do with losing one’s salvation, you may ask? Who do you think this verse is talking about? “have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Master (Lord) and Saviour Jesus Messiah”….”the latter end is worse for them than the first” for “turning from the set-apart command (aka G-d’s laws) delivered unto them”. The first end is referring to before being saved. Unless you are going to try to argue that the lost are not condemned to hell, having never professed Jesus as Lord and Savior. If that were true, then G-d would have never had to send His only begotten Son to begin with, so we can safely say that the first end is death and eternal damnation in hell. What could be worst than hell? Having been covered in grace only to be deceived by the greatest of all deceptions and walking straight out of grace into a deeper level of hell, closer to the heart of Satan. Yes, there are different levels of hell, just as their are different levels of heaven.
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done. Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens.” Matthew(Mattityahu) 5:19
You see, the whole “once saved always saved” belief is a lie. It is true that nothing can pluck you out of His hands, but you still have freewill and can most certainly walk your happy butt right out of His grace. Faith without works is dead. You are judged by the fruit you bear….whether saved or not saved, and EVERYTHING will be made known in the great white throne room at the end of time itself, which is why this event occurs at the end of time, so you can be judged not only for your actions, but the effect those actions had on every single soul who lived on this earth after you.
If you can lose your salvation, then how can you know that you are saved?
Repent daily…..and not for the same things every day. The above verses are not talking about people who struggle with sin, because we ALL struggle with sin, unless we don’t struggle with it and that’s when there is a very good sign that we are not in a repenting, humble spirit but are instead deceived, when we try to justify our sins. There is simply no justification for sin. The truth is, we either struggle daily or we put on rose colored glasses and believe everything is ok with G-d, that He understands when we place our desires above His own.
