We have updated our blog to use an SSL certificate for all web traffic. Any links to our site previously that were HTTP:// will automatically be corrected to HTTPS://
This is to comply with the industry wide move to require that ALL websites be secure to authenticate the source of the website and its content, to prevent malicious and unauthorized web traffic.
As a visitor to our blog, there is nothing you have to do on your end.
Some websites that we link to will be linked as HTTPS to avoid error messages about mixed secure and non-secure content on our own website.
When you click those links that take you to a third party website, that website may have a mixture of secure and non-secure content because they are still in the process of updating all of their content to be in compliance with the HTTPS requirement, which will effect their Google rankings among other things.
